Term 2, 2025 saw two talented teams from St Mary’s proudly take part in the North Sydney Model United Nations Assembly.

  • Team USA – Daniel Andrews, Michael Donnellan, and Evan Zafiropoulos
  • Team Bharat (India) – Matthew Davies, Jamie Naffah, and Xavier Smith

Our delegates tackled pressing global issues including climate change, tariffs, refugee policy, the Antarctic Treaty, space debris, and even McDonald’s as a global food source! Representing their assigned nations, both teams demonstrated exceptional diplomacy, research, and public speaking skills. Both delegations were highly praised by judges, peers, and the audience alike.

  • Team USA took home the prize for Best Dressed
  • Team Bharat were crowned Overall Champions and will now advance to the Australian Final in Canberra later this year
