Our school remained among the Top 150 in the state for a third consecutive year, climbing nine places to 126th in the Sydney Morning Herald HSC rankings.

We also recorded 46 Distinguished Achievers, 29 HSC showcase nominations, and two All Rounders.

Twins Charlie and Harry Abbey received our two highest ATARs, Charlie 99 and Harry 98.5.

St Mary’s Principal Kerrie McDiarmid congratulated Year 12 on their achievements, which included 15.4 per cent of results a Band 6, the highest possible.

She attributed the success to teacher support and a school focus on high challenge, high academic standards and high expectations.

“The Class of 2024 worked hard and demonstrated a continual desire to improve throughout their HSC year,” Ms McDiarmid said.

“We were most impressed with the growth from our students.”
